A new font and a few more examples

A new font is available: Candela. It's a clean, modern sans-serif font. Here what it looks like in its italic variant:

Also, some new examples are now in the examples gallery. The one I preferred is, I think, the Twitter-like Sign Up button:

    Hi,

I recently used your button maker for my website and I just wanted to send my appreciation to you for making my life easier. I know it’s only buttons but to create a simple button in a graphic program still takes time (especially if you’re not familiar with those programs) but your online button maker is just so simple to use!

I know where to go now if I need a new button, thanks heaps mate.

    1. Dear anonymous,

You’ve got to use the PNG or GIF format to get a transparent background (so no white corners). JPEG does not handle transparency.

    2. Sorry, I too get a rectangular boundary which rather defeats the purpose of my having a round box button. This applies to PNG and GIF formats. I'd love to be able to use the Button Factory buttons otherwise as it is very user-friendly.

    3. Well an image preview program will show a rectangular boundary around the button, as all digital images are always technically rectangular.

But the corners in a PNG or GIF button *are* transparent, just try to embed the button on a web page or Word document, set the background color to anything you want and you will not have any “rectangular boundary”. See https://imgur.com/C6AT7wV as an example.
You are getting mistaken by what you see on your image preview program, that’s all.

    4. Thank you for that advice. I hadn't carried the process right through. Now that I've uploaded the buttons that I made, all works extremely well. Thanks for a great facility.
